1. FDA Announcement: Crackdown on E-Cigarette Sales at Trade Shows – 11 Companies Receive Warning Letters

These companies must respond within 15 days to correct the violations or face further penalties, including possible bans and fines.
2. Philippines Bureau of Internal Revenue Introduces New Rule: E-Cigarettes and Tobacco Products Must Not Be Sold Below the Official Minimum Price
TThe Philippines Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has released new regulations prohibiting the sale of e-cigarettes, cigarettes, and heated tobacco products below the minimum prices set by tax authorities. Violators will face fines and possible imprisonment. The BIR emphasized that the new rule aims to ensure tax compliance and curb the practice of selling products at unlawfully low prices
